About the role
Paris-based off-cycle analyst internship in Bank of America’s Debt Capital Markets Financial Institutions Group. The role supports advisory, structuring and execution of debt financing solutions for corporates, financial institutions and sovereign, supranational and sovereign issuers, working with banking, markets, sales, trading and research teams across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver tailored financing solutions with product specialists for senior-level clients.
- Develop market-informed recommendations across financing strategies addressing specific client needs.
- Prepare presentations covering general corporate financing and acquisition financing solutions.
- Support live transactions while working with clients and professionals across the bank.
- Coordinate client coverage and origination with Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and broader Capital Markets teams.
- Coordinate deal execution with sales and trading teams and monitor developments through Global Research.
Programme and Training
- Assigned to the Debt Capital Markets team within Global Capital Markets in Paris.
- Gain experience advising, structuring and executing debt solutions across developed and emerging EMEA markets.
- Receive extensive formal training at programme commencement, on-the-job support, speaker events and mentorship.
- Potential full-time employment may be offered for July 2028, with some teams offering January or April starts.
Eligibility and Skills
- Pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, completing all requirements between January 2026 and July 2028.
- Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in financial markets, alongside drive, innovation and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Show teamwork, leadership, creativity, effective communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate integrity, ethics, honesty and professionalism in interactions with others.
- Be available for the offered start date; deferrals are not available.
