About the role

This 10-week summer internship at Bank of America offers penultimate year students exposure to global markets sales and trading. Interns rotate across desks, gaining hands-on experience in sales, trading, and market analysis with potential for full-time conversion in 2028.

Candidate Requirements

  • Penultimate year undergraduate or master's student with strong academic record.
  • Background in mathematics, engineering, statistics, or programming is advantageous.
  • Strong interest in global financial markets and their influencing factors.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional Asian language proficiency highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sales, trading, and hedging activities across multiple desks.
  • Analyze market trends and provide quantitative data to clients.
  • Perform market and quantitative research analysis.
  • Help originate, structure, price, and execute trades and transactions.
  • Develop marketing presentations and assist in new product development.
  • Educate clients on complex financial products and structures.

Program Details

  • 10-week summer program with orientation and firm induction.
  • Rotations across two to three different trading desks.
  • Assignments mirror full-time responsibilities with goal-setting and reviews.
