Join a High Yield Credit Trading desk as an entry-level analyst in New York. Support investment decisions through credit research, modeling, and valuation in public and private credit markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed credit models including forecasts and liquidity analysis.
- Perform fundamental credit research and due diligence on companies and industries.
- Monitor earnings, news, covenants affecting credit quality and valuation.
- Conduct relative value analysis across bonds, loans, CDS, and credit instruments.
- Prepare investment memos, research summaries, and regular team reports.

Collaboration and Monitoring
- Work directly with portfolio manager and senior credit analysts.
- Collaborate with traders to track positions, risk exposures, and P&L.

Core Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or quantitative field (or graduating this year).
- 1-3 years internship or full-time experience in investment banking, credit research, or related fields.
- Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills with Excel proficiency.
- Interest in credit markets, financial statements, and investment research.
- Understanding of valuation and credit metrics like leverage, coverage, liquidity.

Preferred Experience
- Completion of sell-side analyst campus recruiting or analyst rotation preferred.
- Exposure to high yield or leveraged finance is a plus.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial data platforms.
