Temporary Associate role in New York supporting internal event planning and delivery at BAM. Requires strong organizational skills and experience in event coordination within a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

  • Support planning and delivery of internal events across US-based activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics including catering, venue, AV, travel, and materials.
  • Provide onsite coordination for events in NY/CT and other US locations.
  • Maintain firm-wide events calendar and ensure accuracy of event materials.
  • Assist with event communications such as invitations and follow-ups.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support internal events like Town Halls, team socials, and firm-wide occasions.
  • Assist leadership engagements with scheduling, logistics, and briefing materials.
  • Prepare event briefs, run-of-show documents, and post-event recaps.
  • Develop and design event websites and onsite materials.
  • Organize events calendar and support forward planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 1-3 years of event planning experience, preferably corporate or in-house.
  • Strong organizational skills managing multiple events and priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with internal teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working at pace and adapting to change.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Event management or coordinator background preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or investment management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Cvent, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe.
