Corporate Business Operations (Summer Internship)

About the role

Summer 2027 internship opportunities in BAM’s business operations teams, supporting Treasury in New York City or Cash Management in Chicago. Interns will work with financial data, reporting, process improvement, liquidity, and operational projects while collaborating with internal teams and presenting project insights to leadership.

Team Opportunities

• Treasury interns support financing activity, strategic initiatives, financial reporting, and project-based analysis in New York City.
• Cash Management interns monitor daily cash activity, liquidity, bank reconciliations, balance reporting, and cash forecasting in Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects involving dynamic reporting, dashboarding, and financial modelling.
• Identify opportunities to streamline or automate workflows through process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal support teams.
• Provide ad-hoc support for system issues as they arise.
• Create and present an internship project to leadership based on insights gained.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Graduate between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Demonstrate interest in finance, financial markets, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Communicate clearly and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Show strong organization, time management, analytical, problem-solving, research, and data interpretation skills.
• Have high proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualification

• Familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus.
