About the role
Summer interns join Baird’s Global Investment Banking team in London, gaining hands-on M&A experience across pitches, valuations, research, and live transactions. The program provides mentoring, exposure to clients and industry experts, and consideration for full-time positions in Baird’s 2028 incoming Analyst class.
About the Team
- Baird’s Global Investment Banking group provides M&A, debt advisory, and equity financing services globally.
- The European team specialises in Consumer, Healthcare, Industrial, and Technology & Services sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing materials for pitches, buy-side and sell-side transactions, and client meetings.
- Prepare company valuations and financial analyses using various valuation methodologies.
- Conduct company and market research and prepare supporting analyses.
- Assist deal teams executing live buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Internship Experience
- Learn about the M&A industry, Baird’s clients, and the firm through day-to-day work.
- Receive mentoring from experienced professionals while developing practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
Progression
- Successful interns will be considered for full-time positions in Baird’s 2028 incoming Analyst class.
