About the role
Year-round software developer internship for a local student pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant computing field. Interns help build, test, document, and deliver software in an agile environment, collaborating with experienced developers. The hybrid role starts June 2027, with full-time summer and part-time semester hours in Madison or Milwaukee.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing new and existing solutions using .NET, HTML, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Support software testing, code documentation, and product feature implementation.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, business-owner demos, and team retrospectives.
- Collaborate and pair with experienced software developers.
- Apply software craftsmanship principles in a continuous-learning agile and lean environment.
Schedule and Location
- Work three days weekly in downtown Madison or Milwaukee and two days remotely.
- Work full time during summer, totaling 37.5–40 hours weekly.
- Work part time during academic semesters, totaling 15–20 hours weekly.
- Must be a local student available to start in June 2027.
