Internship – Equity Research Analyst (Summer 2027)

About the role

Baird offers a 10-week summer internship for Equity Research Analysts in Milwaukee, focusing on real-world experience in equity research, quantitative support, and client interaction. The program targets December 2027 or Spring 2028 graduates.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the equity research process and work closely with analysts.
• Provide quantitative and field research support for industry and company analysis.
• Work in small teams covering 15+ stocks.
• Collect industry data and develop sector expertise to guide client investments.
• Write reports and communicate research findings.
• Engage with company management and discuss findings with sales, trading, and institutional clients.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, graduating December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Finance or Accounting degree strongly preferred.
• Proven academic excellence.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
