About the role
Year-round Wealth Planning internship supporting Baird’s geographically diverse team and Financial Advisors nationwide. The role combines plan construction, analysis presentation, internal content review, workflow support and professional development. Based in Milwaukee, the hybrid position requires full-time summer availability and part-time work during school semesters, beginning June 2027.
Responsibilities
- Support plan construction and present analyses to relevant parties.
- Review and enhance BairdWeb content on the internal site.
- Provide process support and manage the team’s workflow queue.
- Gain exposure to Wealth Planning processes, structure and expertise.
- Build relationships across the Wealth Solutions Group and support assigned projects.
- Complete the SIE exam if able.
Work Pattern
- Work three days weekly in Baird’s downtown Milwaukee office and two days remotely.
- Work 37.5–40 hours weekly during summer.
- Work 15–20 hours weekly during school semesters.
- Start in June 2027.
Intern Development
- Receive hands-on project experience, mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in networking events, leadership connections and firmwide development activities.
- Engage with Wealth Planning team members for career exploration and professional development.
