Internship – Private Wealth Management (Phoenix, AZ Summer 2027)

About the role

Baird’s Private Wealth Management summer internship offers students hands-on experience supporting Financial Advisors across Phoenix-area branches. Interns will assist with research, financial planning, client meetings, paperwork, and branch initiatives while working full time from June 2027. The program includes mentorship, networking, professional development, and collaborative projects.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisor projects, including report reviews and research.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle administrative tasks, calls, and basic client questions.
• Process paperwork and documents and support branch marketing initiatives.
• Provide additional project support and duties as needed.

Program Details

• Summer 2027 internship based in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Kierland, Sun City, or Chandler branches.
• Full-time schedule of 37.5–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Interns gain hands-on experience, mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.
• Program events include an intern welcome, Baird Gives Back Day, and firmwide networking.

Requirements

• Be a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with graduation anticipated in December 2027 or later.
• Demonstrate interest in financial services and a career in private wealth management.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and associates.
• Manage multiple priorities with strong organization, attention to detail, and timely execution.
• Show motivation, proactivity, strategic thinking, and commitment to learning.
• Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
