About the role
Baird’s Private Wealth Management summer internship in Paducah offers students hands-on exposure to financial advisors and their teams. Interns support research, financial planning, client meetings, administration, paperwork, and marketing while developing professional relationships. The full-time, Monday-to-Friday program starts in June 2027 and seeks students graduating December 2027 or later.
Responsibilities
- Support Financial Advisor projects, including report reviews and research.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with financial planning and market research.
- Handle administrative tasks, calls, and basic client questions.
- Contribute to branch marketing initiatives and process paperwork.
- Provide additional project support and perform other assigned duties.
Intern Program
- Gain real-world experience through hands-on projects and meaningful team contributions.
- Receive mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to connect with firm leaders.
- Participate in welcome activities, networking, collaborative events, and Baird Gives Back Day.
Work Arrangement
- Work full time during the summer in Baird’s Paducah, Kentucky office.
- Work Monday through Friday for approximately 37.5–40 hours weekly.
- The internship is intended to begin in June 2027.
