Internship – Private Wealth Management (Evansville, IN Summer 2027)

About the role

Baird’s Private Wealth Management internship in Evansville offers meaningful summer experience supporting Financial Advisors and their teams. Interns assist with research, financial planning, client meeting preparation, administrative tasks, documentation and marketing initiatives while developing professional relationships through hands-on projects, mentorship, networking and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisor projects, including report reviews and research.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle administrative tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Process paperwork and documents, and support branch marketing initiatives.
• Provide additional project support and other duties as needed.

Schedule and Program

• Work full time, 37.5–40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
• Work from Baird’s Evansville, Indiana office during summer 2027.
• Candidates should be available to start in June 2027.
• Program includes hands-on projects, mentorship, networking and professional development events.
• Program activities include Intern Welcome and Baird Gives Back Day.

Requirements

• Pursue a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field preferred.
• Anticipated graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
• Demonstrate interest in financial services and private wealth management.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and associates.
• Manage multiple priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Show motivation, proactivity, strategic thinking and commitment to learning.

Additional Eligibility

• Prior office-setting experience is preferred.
• Baird is not hiring candidates who currently or eventually require employment visa sponsorship.
