Internship – Private Wealth Management (Dayton, OH Summer 2027)

About the role

Summer 2027 Private Wealth Management internship in Baird’s Dayton, Ohio office. Interns support Financial Advisors through research, financial planning, client meeting preparation, administrative tasks and marketing initiatives while gaining hands-on experience, mentorship and professional development. The role is full time, Monday through Friday, at $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisor projects, including report reviews and research.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle administrative tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Process paperwork, support branch marketing initiatives and complete other projects.

Program Details

• Work full time, 37.5–40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
• Based in Baird’s Dayton, Ohio office in Miamisburg.
• Start in June 2027 during the summer internship period.
• Program includes hands-on projects, mentorship, networking and professional development.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field is preferred.
• Expected graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
• Demonstrated interest in financial services and private wealth management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and associate interactions.
• Ability to manage priorities, maintain attention to detail and deliver work on time.
• Motivated, proactive and strategic approach with commitment to learning and contribution.

Additional Information

• Prior office-setting experience is preferred.
• Applicants requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible.
• Compensation includes paid holidays.
