About the role
This full-time summer 2027 internship in Baird’s Cedar Rapids Private Wealth Management office offers hands-on experience supporting Financial Advisors and their teams. Interns will assist with research, client meeting preparation, financial planning, administration, paperwork, and branch marketing while building professional relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support Financial Advisors with projects, report reviews, and research.
- Prepare for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with financial planning and market research.
- Handle administrative tasks, calls, and basic client questions.
- Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
- Process paperwork and provide additional project support as needed.
Program Experience

- Connect with leaders through networking and professional development activities.
- Participate in the Intern Welcome and Baird Gives Back Day.
Work Arrangement
- Work full time during the summer in Baird’s Cedar Rapids, Iowa office.
- Work Monday through Friday, 37.5–40 hours per week.
- Candidates must be available to start in June 2027.
