Internship – Private Wealth Management (Bloomington, IN Summer 2027)

About the role

Summer 2027 Private Wealth Management internship in Bloomington, Indiana, supporting Financial Advisors through research, financial planning, client-meeting preparation, administrative work, documentation and marketing initiatives. The full-time, office-based role offers practical exposure to wealth management, mentorship, professional development and networking while building client and team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisor projects, including report reviews and research.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle administrative tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Contribute to branch marketing initiatives and process paperwork.
• Provide additional project support and perform other duties as needed.

Program and Schedule

• Work full time during summer 2027, 37.5–40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
• Work from Baird’s Bloomington, Indiana office.
• Begin the internship in June 2027.
• Participate in hands-on projects, mentorship, professional development and networking events.
• Program activities include Intern Welcome, Baird Gives Back Day and firmwide networking.

Requirements

• Anticipated graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
• Demonstrated interest in financial services and a career in private wealth management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional client and associate interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail and deliver work on time.
• Motivation, proactivity, strategic thinking and commitment to learning and contributing.
