Internship - Equity Asset Management Research Analyst, Growth Team (Summer 2027)

About the role

Baird's Equity Asset Management Growth team offers a summer internship focused on research and analysis of growth companies. Interns will engage in stock research, portfolio analysis, and investment presentations in a full-time, in-office role in Milwaukee.

Role and Responsibilities

• Participate in research projects under guidance of analysts and portfolio managers.
• Research stocks and industries aligned with portfolio needs.
• Use FactSet or Bloomberg for company and portfolio analysis.
• Present investment findings and potentially complete stock pitch write-ups.
• Prepare for and join company and analyst meetings and calls.
• Contribute actively to team culture and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Pursuing bachelor's in finance, accounting, business, or quantitative discipline.
• Anticipated graduation by May 2028 with minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Interest in business research and stock market investing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with professionalism.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and work independently.
• Knowledge of FactSet or Bloomberg is a plus.

Program Details

• Full-time summer internship, 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Location: Downtown Milwaukee, WI office.
• Start date: June 2027.
