2027 Global Investment Banking – M&A Internship (April - July ), Frankfurt

About the role

Paid three-month M&A internship in Baird’s Frankfurt Global Investment Banking team, running from 5 April to 2 July 2027. Interns support pitches, transaction execution, valuations, financial analysis, and market research across sectors including Consumer, Healthcare, Industrial, and Technology & Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare marketing materials for pitches, buy-side and sell-side transactions, and client meetings.
• Prepare company valuations and financial analyses using varied valuation methodologies.
• Conduct company and market research and prepare supporting analyses.
• Assist deal teams with live buy-side and sell-side transaction execution.

Requirements

• Excellent academic record from a top-tier university.
• Strong motivation, teamwork skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in M&A or other financial services is preferred.
