About the role
Join Aquatic as an Early Career Software Engineer in Chicago or New York, working on critical financial systems with mentorship and rotations across tech teams. Develop skills in Python or C++ and contribute directly to firm profitability.
Role and Responsibilities
- Rotate through 2-3 technology teams to build impactful financial systems.
- Work one-on-one with senior engineers for mentorship and guidance.
- Develop software using Python or C++.
- Learn software design and testing techniques like Refactoring and Test Driven Development.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience building software solutions in Python or C++.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and distributed systems preferred.
- Strong quantitative skills preferred.
- No more than 3 years of professional experience post-education.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary between $150,000 and $200,000, plus discretionary bonus.
