Program Overview

  • 10-week summer internship in Client & Product Solutions at Apollo Global Management.
  • Gain experience in alternative asset management and client relationship skills.
  • Work collaboratively in a global team environment.
  • Placement in one of three teams: GWMS Sales, ICG Sales, or Product Management.
  • Develop investment acumen and business judgment through diverse projects.
  • Located in New York City, Austin, El Segundo, or Miami offices.

Team Placements & Responsibilities

  • GWMS Sales: Support private wealth fundraising and client engagement efforts.
  • ICG Sales: Assist institutional investor relationship management and marketing.
  • Product Management: Drive fundraising strategy, investor communications, and product launches.
  • Collaborate with junior and senior professionals on projects.
  • Develop knowledge of Apollo's offerings and alternative investments.
  • Support marketing, data analysis, and client communications.

GWMS Sales Specific Duties

  • Support fundraising and prospecting efforts for private wealth clients.
  • Assist with presentations, pitch materials, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Maintain and analyze client data using Salesforce CRM.
  • Generate sales reports and track progress using Apollo Intelligence.
  • Provide updates on industry trends and fund performance.
  • Develop presentation skills and investment acumen.

ICG Sales Specific Duties

  • Prepare presentations, pitch materials, and bespoke projects.
  • Assist client communications and coordinate with Marketing.
  • Customize marketing content for investor meetings and roadshows.
  • Maintain CRM records and generate sales performance reports.
  • Develop investment knowledge and strategic thinking.
  • Collaborate across teams to support firm-wide goals.

Product Management Specific Duties

  • Build product and market knowledge, communicate financial concepts.
  • Draft client collateral including presentations and reports.
  • Assist with strategic business projects and investor inquiries.
  • Maintain investment data and support marketing communications.
  • Analyze data sets and conduct competitive landscape analysis.
  • Collaborate with investment, sales, finance, compliance, and legal teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Pursuing BA or BS (Class of 2028) in finance, business, economics, or related field.
  • Strong interest in financial industry and alternative asset management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to convey complex financial concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
