Software Development Summer Intern

About the role

Software Development Summer Intern in AB’s Technology & Operations business unit, supporting investment-management, distribution, and operational systems. The role combines hands-on software development with formal technology training, mentoring, and exposure to asset management and capital markets. Interns work full-time in Nashville from June through August.

Responsibilities

• Implement functional and technical specifications provided by business analysts and development managers.
• Enhance investment-management systems supporting investment decision-making and execution.
• Improve sales, marketing, distribution, and operational systems through automation and technology enhancements.

Team Context

• Technology provides infrastructure, services, support, and innovation for research, investment services, and employees.
• Operations supports institutional investment management, private client administration, fund services, and brokerage operations.
• Interns collaborate with team members and project managers while contributing to meaningful technology projects.

Internship Experience
