Software Development Associate

About the role

A two-year Software Development Associate program for recent graduates, featuring four six-month rotations across technology teams supporting investment and financial platforms. Associates gain hands-on development experience, learn diverse programming technologies, and receive formal training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and career planning before joining a permanent team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Implement functional and technical specifications provided by business analysts and development managers.
• Develop software supporting equities, fixed income, trading, research, finance, data management, and other platforms.
• Learn application functionality, technical architecture, programming languages, and frameworks during each rotation.
• Apply analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills to complex software development and business challenges.

Rotations

• Complete four challenging six-month rotations within the Software Development track.
• Develop analytics and pricing engines for mortgage-backed securities.
• Implement quantitative models and enhance portfolio management processes.
• Build trading opportunity systems, bond recommendation engines, and automated trade processes.

Training and Development

• Receive hands-on learning supported by team members, project managers, and formal technology training.
• Participate in rotation selection, technical and business training, mentorship, and career planning sessions.
• Engage with senior leaders through networking events, coffee chats, and lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Access tuition reimbursement for CFA, MBA, and other programs.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Graduate in December 2026 or May or June 2027.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Demonstrate programming experience, technical ability, innovation, leadership potential, and passion for learning.
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to work without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced, team environment and show interest in AI and emerging technologies.
