Infrastructure Engineering Summer Intern

About the role

Summer intern in AllianceBernstein’s Technology & Operations business unit, gathering requirements and designing and implementing infrastructure tools with technology, development, and business teams. Projects may span cybersecurity, hosting, databases, networking, desktop, platforms, messaging, or mobile services, with mentoring and independent learning.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and collaborate with GETS, development, and business teams to design and implement infrastructure tools.
• Work with a project manager, mentor, and team members on technology and operations projects.
• Contribute to initiatives improving infrastructure reliability, operational automation, security, and technology service delivery.

Potential Project Areas

• Cybersecurity, server and desktop technology, and application or web hosting.
• Database management, messaging and mobile services, and networking.
• Desktop engineering and platform engineering.

Program Development

• Receive firmwide onboarding and an introduction to asset management and capital markets.
• Participate in mentoring, career planning, training, and development opportunities.
• Learn through project work, independent study, mentoring, and collaboration with team members.
