Role and Responsibilities

  • Support firm sales initiatives and territory management for U.S. retail distribution.
  • Assist internal and external sales teams with prospecting and report generation.
  • Develop sales skills through client prospecting calls and competitive analysis.
  • Help manage sales territories to maintain organization and efficiency.
  • Understand firm mission, values, and product offerings in retail market.

Team and Department

  • Work within Strategic Sales & Service supporting mutual funds and managed accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external wholesalers to support sales efforts.
  • Client Group includes Sales & Client Services, Business Development, Product Strategy, Marketing, and Business Transformation.
  • Focus on promoting proprietary investment services through third-party channels.
  • Gain exposure to investment product lifecycle and client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Economics, or Marketing with strong academics.
  • Graduating May/June 2026 eligible for this role.
  • Financial industry or relevant internship experience preferred.
  • Client-focused, detail-oriented, able to multitask in fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and interest in retail investment management.

Training and Licensing

  • Initial training includes formal instruction and on-the-job learning.
  • Training covers capital markets, AB products, services, procedures, and consultative selling.
  • Must complete Security Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63 exams within six months.
