About the role

Summer internship with AllianceBernstein Private Credit Investors in Austin, supporting private corporate credit investing. Interns build skills in corporate credit analysis, financial modeling, and valuation while participating with investment teams in loan origination, underwriting, and investment decisions. About the Team

• AB Private Credit Investors is AllianceBernstein’s private corporate credit investment platform.
• The team provides flexible capital solutions for acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancings, and growth investments.
• Investments include unitranche, first-lien and second-lien debt, private equity co-investments, and structured preferred stock.
• The team emphasizes fundamental due diligence, transaction terms, documentation, teamwork, and collaboration.

Responsibilities and Training

• Develop skills in corporate credit analysis, financial modeling, and valuation.
• Work within investment teams and participate in loan origination and underwriting.
• Contribute to the investment decision-making process.
• Gain transaction exposure, training, and networking relevant to alternative investments careers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree candidates with demonstrated academic excellence.
• Comfortably assemble and analyze data using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good judgment, attention to detail, initiative, and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong work ethic and interest in investment banking, private equity, or private credit.
