Business Analyst Summer Intern

About the role

Business Analyst Summer Interns join AllianceBernstein’s Technology & Operations business unit in Nashville, supporting teams serving investment professionals and clients. Interns work with Senior Business Analysts and Project Managers on process improvement, reporting, automation, and technology-enabled decision-making while learning investment-management products, services, and business processes.

Team

• Technology provides computing, communications, infrastructure, services, support, and innovation for research, investment services, and employees.
• Operations supports institutional investment management, private client administration, fund services, brokerage operations, and change initiatives globally.

Responsibilities

• Support teams serving institutional investors, research analysts, portfolio managers, client relationship managers, traders, and wholesalers.
• Work closely with Senior Business Analysts and Project Managers while learning key business processes and investment-management services.
• Streamline trading order management processes and redesign aspects of client reporting.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to investment decision-making and explore opportunities for improved automation.

Internship Program

• Assignments may span a variety of Technology & Operations teams supporting investment-management activities.
• Program opportunities include firmwide onboarding and an introduction to asset management and capital markets.
• Interns receive mentoring, career planning, and training and development opportunities.
