Rotational Portfolio Implementation Associate

About the role

This summer internship in Nashville supports portfolio implementation across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset and hedge fund solutions groups. Interns gain exposure to asset management, investment research, portfolio strategies, and financial markets through data analysis, projects, and collaboration with trading, operations, sales, and portfolio management teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support portfolio implementation and portfolio management teams across day-to-day activities and projects.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, portfolio strategy projects, and data analysis.
• Partner with team members and interact with professionals across trading, operations, sales, and other teams.
• Gain exposure to quantitative and fundamental research, investment technology, and portfolio management processes.

Placement Groups

• Equity Portfolio Management: Explore implementation of equity, currency, and derivative investment ideas.
• Fixed Income Portfolio Management: Explore implementation of bond, currency, and derivative investment ideas.
• Multi-Asset and Hedge Fund Solutions: Support systematic, outcome-oriented, and income-driven investment solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree candidates graduating December 2026 through May or June 2027 in a relevant listed field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better, with interest in financial markets, regulations, and portfolio management.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Available to work full-time from June through August without conflicting classes or other employment.
• Successfully complete a thorough background check and demonstrate quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Able to prioritize, multitask, collaborate, think holistically, and approach challenges proactively in deadline-driven environments.

Training and Development

• Training includes capital markets, Python, Power BI, SQL, investment case studies, and career development.
• Program includes mentoring, networking opportunities, Career Compassing, and social outings with the intern class.
