About the role
This summer internship supports Bernstein Private Wealth Management teams serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Interns work with Financial Advisors on portfolio analysis, account maintenance, meeting preparation, and client support, while receiving training, mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities. Successful interns may be considered for full-time Private Wealth Associate roles after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Support Financial Advisors with portfolio analysis, account creation and maintenance, and client meeting preparation.
- Assist with asset allocation recommendations, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth and legacy planning.
- Complete ad hoc business projects and support client service activities.
- Build relationships and contribute to an exceptional client experience.
Program Experience
- Participate in client service excellence, partnership, and communication training.
- Receive career management support, mentorship, and one-on-one coaching.
- Access networking opportunities and social outings.
- Successful interns may have an opportunity to continue as full-time Private Wealth Associates after graduation.
Requirements
- Pursue a bachelor's degree and graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and strong leadership experience.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, written, verbal communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.
- Be client-focused, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to multitask under pressure.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and available to work full-time from June through August.
- Do not take conflicting academic classes or hold other employment during the internship schedule.

- Relevant internship experience and coursework in finance or economics are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Security Industry Essentials certification is considered a valuable asset.
