About the role

Bernstein Private Wealth Management seeks summer interns to support Financial Advisors serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Interns gain experience in portfolio analysis, account administration, client meeting preparation, asset allocation, capital markets positioning, and wealth planning while receiving mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support Financial Advisors with portfolio analysis, account creation and maintenance, and client meeting preparation.
  • Assist with asset allocation recommendations, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth and legacy planning.
  • Complete ad hoc business projects while supporting the growth of the Private Wealth Management platform.

Program And Training

  • Participate in a comprehensive summer internship program focused on client service excellence, partnership, and communication.
  • Receive career management support, mentorship, and one-on-one coaching for professional development.
  • Take part in networking opportunities and social outings.
  • Successful interns may have an opportunity to continue as full-time Private Wealth Associates after graduation.

Requirements

  • Pursue a bachelor's degree and graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and demonstrate strong leadership experience.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, written, verbal communication, relationship-building, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
  • Be client-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and available to work full-time from June through August.
  • Do not take conflicting academic classes or hold other employment during the internship; complete a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant internship experience is preferred.
  • Coursework in finance and economics is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Security Industry Essentials certification is considered a valuable asset.
