Private Wealth Summer Intern

About the role

Bernstein Private Wealth Management seeks summer interns to support Financial Advisors serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Interns gain experience in portfolio analysis, account servicing, client meeting preparation, asset allocation, capital markets, and wealth planning while receiving mentorship, training, coaching, and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisors with portfolio analysis, account creation and maintenance, and client meeting preparation.
• Assist with asset allocation recommendations, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth and legacy planning.
• Complete ad hoc business projects and contribute to client service and relationship-building activities.

Program

• Participate in a comprehensive Private Wealth Summer Internship program with networking opportunities and social outings.
• Receive client service excellence, partnership, and communication training focused on exceptional client experiences.
• Access career management, mentorship, and one-on-one coaching for professional development.
• Successful interns may have an opportunity to continue as full-time Private Wealth Associates after graduation.

Requirements

• Be a bachelor's degree candidate graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and demonstrate strong leadership experience.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, analytical, relationship-building, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• Be client-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and successfully complete a thorough background check.
• Be available to work full-time from June through August without conflicting classes or employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Relevant internship experience.
• Coursework in finance and economics.
• Security Industry Essentials certification.

Application And Compensation

• A HireVue video is required as part of the application process.
• Base salary range is $77,500 to $77,500 annually.
