About the role
Bernstein Private Wealth Management seeks a client-service-minded summer intern in Los Angeles to support Financial Advisors serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The role provides exposure to portfolio analytics, asset allocation, capital markets positioning, wealth planning, client service, mentorship, and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Support Financial Advisors with portfolio analysis, account creation and maintenance, and meeting preparation.
- Assist with asset allocation recommendations, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth and legacy planning.
- Complete ad hoc business projects supporting the Private Wealth Management platform.
- Help deliver client service excellence through effective partnership and communication.
Program Experience
- Participate in a comprehensive internship program with career management, mentorship, and one-on-one coaching.
- Attend networking opportunities and social outings during the internship.
- Successful interns may have an opportunity to continue as full-time Private Wealth Associates after graduation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree candidates graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 may apply.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated leadership experience are required.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, relationship-building, teamwork, and multitasking skills are expected.
- Candidates must be client-focused, detail-oriented, resilient under pressure, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and successfully complete a background check.
- Must work full-time from June through August without conflicting classes or employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Relevant internship experience and coursework in finance or economics are preferred.
- Security Industry Essentials certification is considered a valuable asset.
