Investments Summer Intern

About the role

The Investments Summer Internship places students within an asset class such as Equities, Fixed Income, or Multi-Asset Solutions, with exposure to Responsible Investing, research, trading, portfolio management, data science, and technology. Interns complete meaningful projects, present findings to senior management, and may receive an invitation to the Investments Rotational Associate Program after graduation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Join one investment team and contribute to research, analysis, trading, portfolio management, or technology projects.
• Use fundamental, quantitative, statistical, or data-driven methods to support investment decision-making.
• Examples include forecasting industries, analyzing business models, underwriting credit, building factor models, and testing portfolio strategies.
• At summer’s end, present project findings and lessons learned to Investments senior management.

Investment Exposure

• Gain exposure across Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset and Hedge Fund Solutions, and Responsible Investing.
• Learn about fundamental and quantitative research, trading, portfolio management, data science, and technology innovation.
• Intern placement depends on interests, skills, company needs, and location-specific opportunities.
• Successful interns may be invited to join the Investments Rotational Associate Program after graduation.

Program Conditions

• Work full-time and in person from June through August without conflicting classes or other employment.
• Selected candidates must successfully complete a thorough background check.
• Technical experience is not required for every placement, but data comfort and technology interest are valued.
