Software Engineer Intern - C# .NET Desktop, Summer 2027
Akuna Capital offers a 10-week summer internship for Software Engineer Interns to develop C# .NET desktop trading applications. Interns collaborate with traders and quants, own projects, and present their work, gaining experience in real-time financial software development.

Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop Windows desktop applications using C# .NET and WinForms/WPF.
- Implement robust unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Continuously evaluate and implement technologies to enhance user experience and development efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development and shadow application support processes.
- Take full ownership of projects and present accomplishments at program end.

Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
- Graduating by August 2028 with a major GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on the first day, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM.
- Understanding of .NET Framework and C# programming language.
- Familiarity with WinForms or WPF applications is a plus.

- Minimum annualized base salary starts at $145,000, varying by experience and qualifications.
