Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-latency, high-performance C++ applications for trading.
- Collaborate with trading teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Work on trading infrastructure, algorithms, exchange gateways, and data analysis.
- Engage in problem-solving and innovation to improve trading systems.
- Adapt quickly to changing market conditions and technical challenges.

Candidate Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field by employment.
- Experience programming in modern C++ and knowledge of distributed systems, parallel processing, networking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to scripting and data analysis, ideally Python with Pandas and Numpy.
- Effective communication skills to work with trading teams.

- No prior finance or trading experience required.
- Comprehensive training and continuous education provided to develop necessary skills.
- Team-based approach integrating software engineering and trading expertise.

Compensation and Benefits
- Minimum base salary starts at $145,000 in accordance with Illinois Equal Pay Act.
