Junior Pit Trader
Akuna Capital seeks Junior Pit Traders to competitively make markets in CBOE's trading pits. Candidates should be math-savvy, competitive, and eager to learn trading strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities
- Make markets competitively in CBOE trading pits representing Akuna.
- Build and maintain relationships with market participants to maximize revenue.
- Analyze trading opportunities and counterparty trends independently.
- Update pricing and parameters based on trading flow and market conditions.
- Make recommendations on positional management to the trading team.

Candidate Requirements
- Completed BS/MS/PhD in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Math, CS, or related field.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and quantitative analysis skills.
- Effective communication and ability to foster external professional relationships.
- Ability to react quickly and accurately to changing market conditions.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter ready for a competitive team environment.

Additional Information
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required on first day, including F-1 OPT/STEM.
- Major GPA of 3.0 or above required.
- Next available start date is August 2027.
- Applicants must prioritize this role over other full-time trading roles at Akuna this season.
- Minimum base salary starts at $145,000 plus discretionary performance bonus.
